At FHOA's most recent Annual Meeting held in Red Deer, Alberta, on April 30, 2016 the following individuals were unanimously elected to hold office as members of the board of directors for the coming year:

 

Ms. Jerrie Andreasson-Richarson, Ms. Andreasson-Richardson's family owns mineral rights in the George Field.  She has more than 20 years of experience serving both private and public sector organizations in senior and executive level positions.  Her expertise includes corporate governance and developing strategies to achieve organizational goals; 

 

Mr. Denis Eisner, Mr. Eisner has more than 30 years of diverse oil and gas industry experience.  He is a member of, and former director of, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen and played a leading role in the development of the CAPL 2014 freehold lease agreement; 

 

Mrs. Sybil Evans, a retired businesswoman living in Ponoka, Alberta who owns mineral rights in the Wood River Field and has been active in community affairs for many years;

 

Mr. Bernard Goltz, Mr. Goltzs family owns rights in the Redwater, Holden and Joarcam fields. He was employed with the Alberta Department of Energy for 36 years and since leaving the Department he has provided his experience and services to freehold mineral owners;

 

Mr. Doug Leeds, a cattle rancher living in Claresholm, Alberta who owns mineral rights in the Eastmont Field;

 

Mr. Brad Murray, a petroleum engineer living in Calgary whose family owns mineral rights in the Chigwell field;

 

Mr. Michael Niven, a partner in the legal firm of Carscallen LLP of Calgary, Alberta specializing in oil and gas law and gross royalty trust agreements;

 

Mrs. Orleen Pearson, a retired teacher and counsellor living in Sherwood Park, Alberta who owns mineral rights in the Bashaw field;

 

Mrs. Else Pedersen, a retired businesswoman living in Ponoka, Alberta whose family owns mineral rights in the Ponoka Field;

 

Mr. Douglas Rae, a principal in the legal firm of Rae and Company of Calgary, Alberta specializing in natural resources law, aboriginal law and litigation;

 

Mr. Frank Russell, a geologist and rancher living in the Lethbridge area who owns mineral rights in the Penny field;

 

Mr. David Speirs, a petroleum geologist living in Calgary who owns mineral rights in the Stettler field;

 

Mrs. Leanne Walton, a retired teacher and farmer living in Tees, Alberta whose family owns mineral rights in the Bashaw field;

 

Mr. Ross Watson, an entrepreneur and third generation farmer living near Eckville, Alberta who owns mineral rights in the Sylvan Lake field;

 

Mr. Ronald Young, Mr. Young has practiced law in Edmonton since 1966 and specializes in civil litigation and freehold mineral rights owner issues;
