Help The Industry Find You

Most Alberta freehold mineral rights are gas prone. For many years, the price of natural gas has been so low that the industry has had little or no interest in freehold mineral rights. Natural gas prices are improving and the potential for the development of lithium, helium, hydrogen, and geothermal energy from freehold mineral rights is becoming apparent. Best of all, a COVID-19 vaccine is on the horizon.

Now is the time to help the energy industry FIND YOU!

Here’s how you can do that.

  • First, confirm your contact information on your Certificate of Title is correct.
  • Then complete the Consent Form allowing geoLOGIC systems ltd., one of the leading energy industry service providers, to add your name and contact information to their database. Their land and technical database is used by most industry operators.

DOWNLOAD CONSENT FORM

To fill out the Consent Form, you will need to copy the information from your Certificate of Title. Once you complete the form and sign it, please send it to FHOA’s offices:

About geoLOGIC systems ltd.

geoLOGIC systems is a Calgary company founded in 1983. They provide comprehensive, user-friendly well and mineral ownership data to the petroleum industry through their software. This is the software FHOA uses to provide meaningful answers to queries from our members about mineral rights or requesting a Technical Services Report.

To maintain the reliability and accuracy of their database, geoLOGIC requires up to date information on freehold mineral ownership. In an effort to assist them with this, we are asking you to ensure your Certificate of Title contains the correct information and to fill out an updated Consent Form so that we can send this information to geologic.
